Complexity Replace RUSH with es3tag
Complexity have announced yet another change in their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. The team benched Will "RUSH" Wierzba and replaced him with Patrick "es3tag" Hansen. Now the roster consists exclusively of European players.
27-years-old American player RUSH has been part of Complexity for almost two years. While he saw some success with the team, namely winning BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 European Finals last year and BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2021 this year, the player himself stated that the team failed to “meet its expectations times and times again”, and that “a change was needed in the roster”. Now the player plans to enjoy his break and evaluate his options for future.
25-years-old Danish player Patrick "es3tag" Hansen joins the team following four months on the bench of Cloud9, who closed their CS:GO roster this March. The player’s contract with the organization already expired, so the transfer to Complexity was free. Earlier in his career he also played for Astralis (2020) and Heroic (2017 – 2020).
Earlier Complexity also parted ways with the roster’s coach Jamie "keita" Hall due to team’s recent underwhelming results. Now the team is on a break, while its next event – ESL Pro League 14 – is scheduled for August 16th – September 12th.
