Fnatic Bench JW and Now Have Only Three Players in Active Roster
Fnatic have benched yet another member of their CS:GO roster. The longest-serving player of the team Jesper "JW" Wecksell is no longer part of the active roster and will take a break to reflect on his career options, “be it CS, VALORANT, or esports in general”.
Aside from a short 4-months venture to GODSENT in 2016, 26-years-old Swedish rifler and AWPer JW has been part of Fnatic since 2013. With them he won three majors – DreamHack Winter 2013, ESL One Katowice 2015 and ESL One Cologne 2015, as well as numerous another premier events.
Earlier this month Fnatic also benched the team’s coach Maikil "Golden" Kunda Selim, citing poor result throughout the year as the reason to reform the roster. It remains unknown whether the three remaining players – Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson, Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin and Jack "Jackinho" Ström Mattso – will continue playing for the new, supposedly international roster.
